Is it standard to mention the beginning year of an anniversary? I thought the year the coin is struck would be sufficient? Mostly a range is given if the same coins have been struck in that time range..
I am not sure how search operation is performed for ND coins, but it's a good practice to search for catalog number (if it's possible) since it's more selective.

Recently a new rule on this sight for duel dated coins like this one meant that they would all be classified as 'no date' and instead would show the two dates presented on the coin.

the rule said to use the latter date - if and only if it matches the actual issue date of the coin
so the coin should have the year 1951 (no ND whatsoever)
I don't understand why this topic is marked as solved. The features column still says 1901-1951, which gives the impression this coin is struck during 50 years while it's only struck during one year. Every coin type in our catalog has in the features column the first year when the type is struck and the last year when the type is struck. Except for those anniversary types. Where is the logic? Where is the common sense? Where is the consistency?
Although I'm already very glad the year line for this coin doesn't say ND but the real date when the coin was struck (1951).

The date was changed already (see the mintage at the bottom of the page). It needs like 24 hours for it to be updated on the "features column" though
