Sorry dont know the year. Not able to read the complete date as the last digit is mostly out of flan.
I was able to read only the second and third digits of the year and they are 98.

The numerals described in the image are arabic whereas on the above coin the numerals are in nagari script. Many Indian languages use this script and hence you will find that it is similar to that with Kutch
