Canada Maple Leaf silver bullion - transfer year lines from older version to new version

Pubblicazioni di 9
This is the previous version of the "Maple Leaf" 1 oz silver bullion coin from Canada:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces9164.html

This is the current version, from 2014 on. The design has been modified with fine radial lines and a micro-engraved security mark:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces58596.html

They apparently have separate K&M numbers as well.

However, the page for the older version has had year lines for 2014-2017 added to it. I think these should all be transferred to the new version, which represents the bullion coin from 2014 onwards. I don't know how to enter a request for this; I suspect it has to be done by a referee.

I agree - KM#625 was last minted in 2014. The continuation of N#9164 beyond 2014 is an error and all newer entries should be moved to https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces58596.html. The date range on the page should be adjusted as well.

The 2014 entry “Bullion with security without radial lines” should remain; perhaps some of the 2014 privy designs were minted without the radial lines and should remain as well, but all 2015 and later entries should be moved.

It's not easy to be a referee for Canada.

The GML bullion were sorted out and updated last week (with the help of Jarcek) and eventually the SML bullion will follow… when I'm done doing the varieties documentation in the proper format.

It seems like the referee position is mainly to cleanup after the others. 🤔

You can allways submit change requests to speed up things. If members collaborate we should get a better result.

As the referre for Canada, I might start cleaning up the mess with the Canada Silver Maple Leaf coins but I want to be sure an ADMIN will also be available to move the members (before I start this). Lately I experienced delays in this aspect and I don't want to go thru this again. It's messy, looks bad and I have to answer private messages (questions) and explain to every one writing me we are in the middle of a restructuration and bla bla bla !

I propose to assemble all the coins with privy marks under ONE page from now on and the ones without privy marks in another page.

Any design changes should get itself a new page (privy marks or not)… like when they introduced security marks (2013-2014) and security marks with radial lines (2014-2022) etc.

Regards,

P.S. Jarcek we have work on the Gold Maple Leaf togheter in the past, are you in for the Silver Maple Leaf ?

It looks like this will never happen, I will leave it for the next canadian referee.

Goodbye.

This was not marked as a ticket request, so it went overlooked, of course I can assist, just let me know.
