Cuba: 25 centavos 2006?????

Pubblicazioni di 5
Hi,

please have a look at this thread: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic58779.html

This coin has a mention of a "thin date", but there is no corresponding documentation, so my question is, how a referee can accept that notion????? In my opinion such variants should only be accepted WITH a corresponding documentation showing the stated differences.

What do you think?

It can be accepted if there is written documentation in some catalogue, or if the referee saw the documentation elsewhere amd just does not have the rights for images.

Hi,

then put the link.... but without anything it's not acceptable for us, the users, I think.

Ole: It is like some notations indicate RARE – a lot of the RARE is not that rare and misleads the newer collectors. Some has notes indicating why it is rare (low mintage, not circulated, etc etc) but most has no notes just RARE. I agree with you – verify (Document) before entering notation.
Those who believe they can do something and those who believe they can't are both right.

Edduns,

RARE is good when talking about steaks, but I agree with you, that for coins it is completely misleading.
