Update a forum thread when a country name changes? [Risolto]

I have my collection organized by continent, then by the name of the country in use at that time. I've noticed that some of my coins were entered under one country name but are now under another.
I assume there is no suitable way to notify everyone who has a coin when there is a change.
Could we have a forum thread that we could check when coins are moved from one country to another, or when a country is renamed? That way we could keep our physical collection matching our online collection?

Yes, we do need some sort of announcements

Before the Great Change I had about 351 countries, and now I have 252 countries and 380 Issuers.
Tracking the changes for some of it is doable since I can recognize the names of the German States. However, I have no idea what changed for some of the other countries.
Could someone maintain some sort of forum list for these changes? One line entries would suffice - for example "country ________" is now "_________"? Many thanks.
