Hello
When I tried to add a coin to the catalog, I received this error message:
"413 Request Entity Too Large
nginx"
I've added coins before, and had no problems. I checked and I don't think my images are too big since they are less than 8MB, but I can't imagine what else might be "too large".
I looked at the instructions but didn't see a size limitation. How many MB are too many? I can cut them down to whatever parameters are needed, assuming that is the problem.
I think the limits are: bigger than 8MB or longer upload time than 1 minute.
A picture of a coin most often round (1:1) would need to be around 1670x1670 to reach 8MB (24bit, without compression), but most pictures of members are of a quality that doesn't warrant such resolution and a resolution of 1000x1000 or 1200x1200 is more than enough.
Thanks Idolenz,
I figured I could make the image smaller, but knowing parameters helps me not have to keep guessing and trying different sizes.
Thanks!
Hi,
This does come from image size. Will check for limitation but anything less than 3MB usually works.
