I was looking into the 1994 Uzbekistan coinage and found that the Numista catalogue at some points differed from the online NGC catalogue, and at some points even contradicted itself.
1. Uzbekistan 1 Tiyin KM#1.1 and 1.2 in Numista and NGC online have opposite definitions.
In the Numisa catalogue, KM#1.1 is defined as 'small denomination, straight lines' and KM#1.2 as 'large denomination, curved lines' (identical both on the English and French page).
In the online NGC catalogue, it is the other way around. KM#1.1 says "Tall thin 1" and has the image of the tall curved denomination, while KM#1.2 says "Short thick 1"
2. 20 Tiyin KM#5.1 and 5.2-5.5 on English Numista page are opposite from NGC online and the French Numista page.
On the English Numista page, KM#5.1 is described 'with dots', while the same line on the French page says "Pas de perle à l'intérieur du listel" (i.e. no pearls inside the rim). In NGC, KM#5.1 says 'without beaded rim', and has a corresponding image.
The KM#5.2 on the other hand is described with "beaded rim" in NGC, while the English Numista page gives three entries for KM#5.2, of which two "without dots" and one with "beaded rim" (1994PM).
Kind request to the referee of Uzbekistan, ngdawa, to look into the matter.
Regards, Arno
