since I have been helping geraltttt82 setting up some documentations for Egyptian coins, I remembered, that for this one I never set up a documentation, so here it is. Change request has been made.

I have around 50 of this type, and the two kind of edges are 50-50...

To me it looks more like the UK 10 pence Km#938b 1992,
Wire edge tapers to a narrow reeding
Flat edge edge is flat and uses the full width of edge.
I think it is two different ways to put reeding on a coin

it's true one is round shouldred and the other square, nevertheless the grooves are very different.

Yes the grooves are very different. I was just saying I think the edges were put on by two very different methods at the mint.

When the coin is pressed and cuts the reeding on the coin. A different edge die can make a wire edge and a flat edge. You may find the one with a wire edge my have a very small difference in dia. The wire edge may be a small bite bigger than a flat edge.
