Curacao World War II coinage

Pubblicazioni di 5
My 2012 edition of Krause 1901-2000 lists KM# 37, KM# 38, KM# 39a, and KM# 40 as Curacao coins, notwithstanding that they are inscribed for the Netherlands. Catalog says they were specifically minted for use in Curacao and Suriname and have P mintmarks for Philadelphia.

The Numista catalogue lists KM# 39 (no distinguishing "a" or "b" as in Krause) under Netherlands - Guilder decimalized, 1817-2001. The other three KM numbers are listed under Netherlands - Guilder, 1828-date and are the only 3 types listed there.

It is an error to use Curacao KM numbers on the pages for coins if you list them in the Netherlands country. The coins were never used in the Netherlands and should be switched to Curacao (I think they were previously correct as I did not note any problem when I listed my coins a couple of years ago) with comments that they were minted specifically for Curacao and Suriname. The currency subdivisions are an additional problem if the coins are kept under Netherlands.

Please fix the catalogue pages. Thank you.

Why does Numista not have a change log. It seems only logical that most if not all catalog changes should be published for all to see. Place it within the Catalog tab where the Country List and Latest Coins are listed.

I don't know how many times I have seen the number of issuers increase but no clue as to which one joined the list. Or in the case of the fake Nauru coins being rightfully moved to exonumia or the Curacao coins mysteriously moved to the Netherlands without mention.
I would support the idea for a change log when issuers are changed or specific coins or groups of coins are moved from established positions. Even better would be if such a log could be used for proposed changes so members could comment before a move and then the final action could be noted.

Isn't there already a change log (modifications history) for each coin? It's only visible to the country's referee and master refs, so maybe that should be public.
I don't know if everything should be visible to everyone. I do believe that when issuers and countries are added, deleted or moved the changes should reported immediately on Numista.
