Out of average dozen Brazilian coins I got on eBay I pulled this nice looking 1939 2000 reis specimen and started posting it, but the flan and the edge immediately drew my attention - it is not a round flan, but rather appear to be a 24-sided flan with some unusual partial and very week reeding. By the way Nimista catalog lists the edge as smooth while Krause states a reeded edge. Any additional information will be much appreciated.
