I need your help. It can be original or fake?
Given that the weight and diameter are the same, as in numista: gr. 2, mm. 16.5
The presence of various bubbles on an extreme side, both sides, and a slightly raised edge, make me think of a copy.
The historical period is far away, perhaps there were very common flaws and bubbles at that time?
Hello,
Have you tried doing various silver tests on it? If it's not silver, it may be a contemporary forgery. More focused photos of the obverse (with the bubbles) might help too.
Also, is the coin struck like that on the reverse or is it just from a messy crop?
It is like it appears (the photo cut a tiny edge but it is full, no problem with it, just a bit raised, swollen).
Silver is more heavy than many metals, and it is gr.2.
After a magnetic test it looks real silver.
It is being sold by a dealer with a good reputation, 100%, not one complaint within 1 year.
The main problem is: bubbles...
the sound test, also, gives an evidence of silver (can be a fake in recycled 812 silver with execution flaws?).
I cannot do other tests because it is a rare coin (acid, fire).
Now, we speculate as it is real silver with very similar characters and shapes:
-The historical period is far away, perhaps there were very common flaws and bubbles at that time? Or not so common?

I've never really seen bubbles like those on early XIX century coins, of British origin.
Another fact after cleaned it:
the coin shines like 999 silver, not 812, so it is gr. 2 heavy.
I have put it on top of 1836 and 1917 Guiana coins and it looks a little bit thick and wide. Any expert in coinage tech or Guiana coins?

916/1000 Silver, YES IT LOOKS VERY SHINY, PURE SILVER(MAYBE ERRORS IN NUMISTA CATALOG? PLEASE CHECK)
Hello,
I'm afraid that being very shiny is not a reliable indicator of silver fineness.
I checked in Krause, and all the E&D coins of this series are listed as .816 silver; so Colnect is likely at fault here. (Some of their E&D listings do have the correct fineness listed.) Therefore, as referee for this issuer, I can safely conclude that there is no error in the Numista catalogue here.
Ok thank you, I will send back this fake (the color of silver is more like 999 type, I can see well, and after 200 years this coin had no mark of life, looking like a new one, you can put together with numista fakes).
