The condition is not good to have any value for a collector.

As per the Indian market the cost is about Rs 3-4.
The condition is pretty rough, I'd say it's not worth much more than a few cents.
What? Me Worry
Maybe modern Indian collectors will disagree but I wouldn't value it at any more than face value (0.5 INR), sorry to say.

Just a word of warning; A big part of any sort of investing in or making money off of numismatics is getting used to disappointment.

8~ I agree completely. Coin collecting will not make you rich.
Perhaps if you receive coins for free from someone who does not know anything about coins, then you can make some money.
Coin collecting is just fun, searching the origin of coins, the history, politics and culture of that country.
But beware: the fun can become a desease...:D
If you like buying and selling, than you should find collections for a low price.
You also should know the catlog values are not realistic prices.
