Problem with picture format.

Why we cant add photo with other format then JPEG ?
On one side we can and other said we cant ?
I have about 50 or 100 photo from polish mint and now i must change all from png to jpg format. It is really annoying.

​Of course i can, there are many links i can use but this is not the point. The point is that workload is increased.
I need to spend more time to add the coin. Ie. 1-2min per photo. 2-4 min per coin. If i have 50 photo from ie. mint of poland i need to spend more time ie. 100 -200min then normal.

I agree with Damian, being able to upload photos in formats other than .jpeg (particularly .png) would be really efficient.

You don't have to go onto a site to convert an image by the way, you can just rename the ending on your desktop.

PNG pictures are many times the size of the same one in jpeg format, that's probably the reason these kinds of formats are not supported. If you have the pictures on your hard drive already ... simply use a free program (like IrfanView) to convert them into jpeg, in batch mode this shouldn't take more than a a couple of minutes.

And no, changing the file ending doesn't do anything, you'll have to convert the data (unless Apple does this for you in the background).

you can add jpg format only for obverse and reverse pictures of the coin while in the comment section you may upload jpg, gif and png formats.

But the box you're showing should not popup for obverse or reverse picture. Can you give it a try again to see if you still have this bug?
