On every coin page there will be a new link (under modify page on the bottom of the page), this will take you to new page where auction results are matched automatically with numista page.
You can either discard the auction, if it is not relevant for the page or skip if you are unsure. If you are sure about grade and year, you can link the auction with exact date and grade and then the auction price will be taken into account.
When you do so, you are automatically presented with another auction for same coin, or if there is none such auction, you will be presented with random one - there is a search function, so you can search numista for coins and again add the auction prices. You can add as many as you want. :)
Values are only calculated once a day, so it might take time to see your addition.
So far, there is only Ebay linked, but there are plans for more auction sites. Ebay was selected because it has its own API, that allows such feature to be integrated into Numista easily. Other auction sites may not provide API, or be outright against such thing.
Great I wanted to ask something like this to be added.
Auction number as well as lot number should somehow be implemented into this for no double entries.

I just updated the page, ask questions, if I know the answer, I shall reply.
Apuking - once auctions are added into account or discarded (when API figured it out wrong or the price is for set for example) they will never show up again in the search. So no double entries. (Of course, same coins may appear several times on auction sites, but I reckon that price will be different every time, and if not, then it is rightful confirmation of stagnant price)
So just to make sure I didn't misunderstand anything, this means we can use auction results to get values for the pages of rare coins, that would otherwise never have gotten them the "regular way" (from the median of multiple users' price entries)?
One quick question also, some scarce coins have sometimes only been sold once in the past Decades. Will it input the value directly or does it also first discount the lowest and the highest value?

It would be great to have the possibility to individually imput ourselves auction house results by selecting auction house and auction name ex.
Auktion 75 - Numismatik Naumann
and then for example select lot nr. 123 and then input the result value.

I think it works excellently, putting aside the fact that for some very common coins only one or two results are popping up. (don't know why?)
Also access to more than one picture would be good. Many coins require pictures of both sides for an ID. Additionally, it would be interesting to know how the prices that are input through this actually translate into coin sheet prices!
I collect anything: If it's Italian or Italian states i collect it even more!
Cita: "Jarcek"This is now online.
Auction prices are added automatically, no need to wait for 4 results as with user input, to answer Apukings question.
I like the new feature and added some results for coins without values so far. But they did not show up in the list up to now....what did I do wrong?

Nothing I guess
The trick is that values will only show up the next day after calculation of the new value by the system.
A weighted average is computed from the values entered by members and from sales i.e. 50 values by members and only 2 sales will give a weighted average with more weight for members' values (and the other way around of course).

When I discard a sale for being a set, a fake or something else than a coin, it isn’t really discarded but appears again when I check the next time for a match. Is this meant to be like that?

same here!
And here! Just tried it out earlier today.
So do I need to wait at least a few hours for sale values to show up?
Also could we have in the future, access to a few other auction sites than Ebay?
Cita: "Xavier"I just fixed the "discard" functionality.
I suggest that once you discard, you don't get the coin again yourself. Otherwise it might be wise not to discard completely until at least 3 people have clicked on "discard". As there is no confirmation needed, a wrong click is waiting around every corner. Already had it happen to me twice and no way to undo the "discard"

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

I reckon it's better that people discard the authentic ones, than adding the fake ones..
