Why are the 25 cent coins for USA listed as ¼ Dollar? Every one knows them as 25 cents. It makes it hard to search for them if are labeled as ¼ Dollar.
If you search 25 then it seems like it should appear in the search and I can't enter 1/4 as ¼ (copped and pasted) on my computer so I can't search it ether. I don't care what you call it, but it should be easy to search. I must side with Ken on this subject, plus that it was only a few months ago that they were listed as 25 cents.
If you search for the US quarter using 25 you get some results and if you search with ¼ you get other results. This also happens with the half dollar. This seems odd to me, all the Quarters and halves should come up ether under both searches (25 and ¼) or under the same search (25 or ¼).
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!
"25 cents" is more a canadian name than american, as we spell it that way here. We stated a rule that a coin file's name should be spelled like it is on the coin. Then, on the small notepad, I guess it should be spelled in French or English, so that the coins could be found either ways.
Si tu cognes ta tête contre une cruche et que ça sonne creux, ce n'est pas forcément la cruche... lollll mon proverbe préféré !
Cita: Makake77finished for the english version - have a look if it's ok.
