My collection - how to add picture

Probably novice - however, I searched and I cannot find a way to add a picture of a coin
I have added to "my Collection". I have only one coin now - for starters... I also have a jpg file.
But I did not get a chance to upload it via the "My collection" screens. ?

Indeed, "my collection" may sound a bit misleading. Numista is not like Catawiki or Colnect where you can upload your own pictures of coins you own yourself, but rather a catalog to manage your collection. Pictures on Numista are illustrations of cataloged items. As a catalog, Numista is unrivaled.

But "my collection" doesn't really show your collection. If you and I would possess the same coin (type), then both your and my "my collection" will display the same catalog illustration.

You can only upload an image of your coin if you have a coin that is not in the catalog, or is without image.

You can export your coins to a .xlsx / .xls format (Excel spreadsheet) and then add your own images to that spreadsheet.

​Don't know about Catawiki, but Colnect does not offer such functionality, either.
