Coin Types question on My Coins

Pubblicazioni di 9
This looks like a new feature in the My Coins tab. Very nice!

But I'm curious if there's a way to search these types. My listing says I have 6 non circulating foreign coins in my total. I have no idea which coins these might be and I'd rather not look thru over 1,900 listings.

Any ideas?
I am not sure, but I believe searchability for those was on to do list for future!

Great! I'll watch for that, thx.

I have since found three of the six.

Now functional!

Great new feature, thanks!

So how do you do it?
No explanation.
It said above that it is in My coins section.
Where?
If only Advanced search is used, then selecting
Coin type: Non-circulating coin
then nothing is displayed as you have to put something in any other box -
surely the search

should still find the 185 coins of that type the site says I have?
;(
Thanks

I was hoping my suggestion a while ago would have happened -
where any of these

would be directly clickable.
Also where is White metal on the Compositions section?
Surely it is not needed to be picky and work out what it means -
maybe some places make it differently - all I have wanted is for it to
be shown somewhere - I have created many pages with it on there,
yet each page looks like I was a ---- and not bothered to fill it in.

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins
Hello,

It's possible to click on the chart of coin types in the dashboard of "My coins" (except if you chose the "old" collection display). It leads to the list of your coins of that type. It was (briefly) announced here: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic87462.html

The question about "white metal" was already raised here: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic44590.html
When converting the metals into the new model, I observed that "white metal" has been mostly used to describe the light or silvery colour, not describing any specific alloy. I also observed "yellow metal" to be used for some coins.
I would prefer the "composition" field to describe only the material of the coins or tokens. If you know which alloy was used, you can select it in the dropdown list. "Tin-lead" or "zamac" for example already exist. If an alloy is not listed yet, you can select "Other". Whether it is listed or not, the "additional details" field allows to describe the exact composition (e.g. Sn 93%, Sb 3.5%, Cu 3.5%).
OK :)
