It would be very interesting to have a ranking of members with open collections by number of issuers and types of coins.
Can you create such a feature?
I guess if the collection is open to see, then probably not, but would probably be wise of Numista to put some extra explanation in legal matters, maybe even set all settings of personal collection lists to hidden prior implementing this idea. Every user would then have to confirm its decision once more to allow being seen in such list. But before such list would come to light, which parameters of list setup are recquired? Personally I don't see this happening, as I don't see Numista as a web contest page.
If I am wrong, I would rather be more pragmatic and see a list of users per country (tokens/coins) who have highest number of coins to swap from specific country or state. Such tool would be usefull in swaps, where one wants to fill out the gaps in collection if possibly in magical single swap.

Hello everyone,
Do you know anything about this suggestion? I think it would not be bad to have, like other websites (Ucoin for example), a section of rankings by number of different currencies, number of types, number of countries and number of issuers. If this does not contribute anything to someone, then simply do not use it, like many of us do not use another series of tools and options that Numista gives us. Not being a computer scientist, I don't know if implementing this suggestion would be very complicated.

Edit: I just closed the access to my collection
Hi Ole, I think it is not a question of whether you see it as a useless tool or I see it as something useful, I think it is a question of whether it is interesting to have a ranking for the website, analyze the pros and cons of that sense, and I always say this respecting the opinion of other colleagues like yours, but if that tool exists and it has not meant a great effort at a technical level, then simply people like you who are not interested, do not use it. You will notice that you cannot see the member's profile if you are not logged ( in LOGIN ).
On the other hand, we have access to their individual quantity of coins and banknotes on the list of members.
I just tried to look at ALL the members from your link and sorting by coins. Try and you'll become amazed, the winner has more than 1 million coins...... and the look at his profile

Hilarious! The top 4 fruitcakes definitely ride the rainbow...
To make a classification is to make statistics:
We are not going to transform a path into a highway if no car takes it, but perhaps into a cycle path if this is justified by surveys.
It is also necessary that the statements are not distorted in various ways, which would lead to inconsistent decisions and situations. Which is also statistics.
Hello,
I believe such a ranking would be misleading unless we put in place restrictions on how people can enter their collection, which I don't want to put in place. Hence I won't implement it.
