Better coin pictures

Hello,

You may have suffered from some issues with pictures over the last few days. This was due to some preparatory work to improve the coin pictures on Numista.

This improvement was just released:

• On desktop, you can see bigger pictures on coin pages
  
• On mobile (or any screen with high pixel density), the picture is not only bigger but also clearer and sharper

As you are working at better quality of pictures, what do you think about an idea to mark coin sheets with pictures which needs to be improved (e.g. with bad resolution or bad quality of the coins) with some special mark to facilitate owners of the similar coin to make better picture?

I think pictures with bad resolution can be found automatically, for the other it may be an option for referees to mark.

It may be also a special topic on forum with the links to the coin sheets with photos required to be changed, at least for some common coins.

I have posted a idea/request for open public tasks. Demand for better pictue could be one of such tasks.

What have you done? Now I got stuck for hours just browsing through the catalogue and enjoying the coin pictures!
