faster access to advanced search

I find the advanced search much more useful than the easy search. That's why I would like to have a faster access to it, it is several clicks away from the start page and not even reachable by a bookmark. When clicking on the drop down menue "catalog" there I click on "search" and the easy search appears. Now I have to click again on this small field "advanced search" – why not showing it immediately? Those who use the easy search can use the search field on the top of any page anyway, they don't need to select it via "catalog" and "search". I would propose to show the advanced search directly in this page and to give the option to use easy search. I'm sure I'm not the only one who uses the advanced search.

Simple and advanced search have bee combined since this topic was opened. There is still one additional click needed to access the advanced search filters, but I don't plan to change that.
