Thank you to all who answered the Numista Survey 2020! We received an amazing amount of 820 answers during 1 week.
The first question was aiming to define how you would like Numista to involve. More than half of you requested new functionalities (55%). It was surprising to me that consolidating existing features was requested by only a third of the respondents (34%), while I feel that some features are still unfinished (values, search by ruler and by mint, etc.) and others like Exchanges would deserve a good refresh. I'll try to keep a good balance between both for the developments of 2020.
I assume the need for a more modern experience was rather expressed in the answer "design, ease of use and accessibility", which was the second most chosen answer, chosen by 39% of the respondents.
Interestingly, both integrating with other services and growing international made good scores (33% and 25%). On the other hand, personal data protection (21%), speed (17%), ecological footprint (14%) and communication (13%) are less a priority for most of you.

With the second question, you asked me to focus on the quality of the catalogue, which is the core of Numista (67%). I fully agree with you, let's keep the focus there! Without surprise, collection management comes next (60%). The third choice was more unexpected, as 38% of you asked me to develop Numisdoc, which never really took off since its launch. Swaps come next with 33%. Coming last in your answers, the forum and especially outings (19% and 14%) should not be priority.

Here are my key takeaways of the survey:
- You always want new features

- I should keep focusing on the core missions of Numista (catalogue, collection management and, too a lesser extent, swaps)
- You need a more fresh user experience: we are not in the 2010's anymore!
- Numisdoc and the integration with other services both made unexpected good scores: let's discuss more about your expectations on this 2 topics.
