I always wondered why there is no Numista rarity 99, 98, 96? and thought maybe this could be improved a bit to make use of all the numbers?
Maybe there could be two branches to the function? One for less than 10 users (u):
R = 100 - u.
and then remap the current function from 11 users and up, defined in [0...89].
Maybe branching can also be at a lower threshold, like at 5? Form then on, the function seems to work ok.
