Anybody knows how the Numista site calculates the collections’ estimate? Is it just the gold bullion value of each coin added up? Fine by me, but why only for 20 or 25% of the individual’s collection? This is what is shown at the bottom of my own MyCoins page and it changes every day. Sometimes it is 20%, other times it is 25% or 15%.
Tks, the answer to the % question is great fun! We can see Numista living! If the % changes, it means members are using and adding to the site. Maybe an email to all members alerting to how important it is to include the paid prices for their coins…?
I have tried to say this out loud on many occasions... the prices put people in should be included only in maybe last year of input and not for instance prices added 10 yrs ago. Lets wait for Xavier to explain the formula...
