Listings with no graded values

When I add a coin to my list - a clad US quarter, for example - that has no graded value on the site, does it still become part the cumulative $ value of my collection?

When enough sales are matched with your date and grade, a price will show up.

I thought at least the face value would be added to my $ total until that happens.
