Requesting assistance to add cash coupons of Indian princely states [Risolto]

The Indian princely states section of banknotes have left out some micro princely states which have issued bank notes in the form of cash coupons during World War II. The ones already added have a reference to this page:

Chethan, there are also Indian Princely States' banknotes as well - including ones from Jammu & Kashmir & Dharangadhra, which are also unlisted in here as well.

I have mentioned both those states in the above list. I hope that they are added soon under the issuing authorities so that respective banknotes can be added thereafter.

Thanks for bringing these up.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with these issues. They do seem to have been de facto legal tender, so I think these states should be added.

I only have the SCWPM from 2013, and according to it:

- Dinajpur;
"Previously listed 1 Pice and 1 Anna cash coupons have been determined to be fantasies"

- Morvi, Vanasthali, Wankaner are not listed.

- the other issuers that are recorded as "unlisted" by the Bank Note Museum, such as Bamra, Bantwa Baramajmu, Bharatpur, etc., do appear in my edition of the SCWPM.

Banknote.ws is a really great website, but I do not consider it a technical reference, in the sense that a published catalog is. I suspect they also use an even older SCWPM edition than I do. So I would not add Dinajpur, Morvi, Vanasthali, and Wankaner (yet).

Unless someone with a newer edition or a specialized catalog can confirm the existence of these issuers. I also welcome any info from anyone more knowledgeable.

I have the 2014 edition of SCWPM specialized issues and I can confirm the states you mentioned are not listed.

The ones that I didn't add:

- Dinajpur: fantasies according to SCWPM
- Morvi, Vanasthali, Wankaner: not listed in SCWPM
- Sitamau, Nawanagar, Junagadh, Jammu & Kashmir: already exist in Numista.
