Suggestion about the "exchange page" (swap)

To speed up the display of the coins of interest for an exchange, I recommend setting:

1) My Wishes -> Hide coins and banknotes I don't wish
This is because clearly if a collector has defined what he does NOT want his display is useless

2) Collectible types -> Coins
This is because most collectors are on Numista for coins

3) My collection -> Show only coins and banknotes I don't own
I believe that most of those who want to trade select this type

I agree. Everytime I take a look at someone's swaplist, I have to change these dropdowns. It'd be great to either see them defaulted to what MicheleTN suggests, or otherwise cached when I change it :-)

From the 'Swaps' page, list obtained according to your preferences, create your Excel list of potential exchange friends,
and modify the link with
Selection.Hyperlinks(1).Address = Selection.Hyperlinks(1).Address & "&issuer=&ct=coin&collection=date&wish=wish_only"
you will get

I don't think 2) is a good idea, because people who *are* wanting to swap those things might not notice that they are being filtered out. Moreover, anybody who only wants coins can add all banknotes and exonumia to their "what I don't wish".

I am agree with 1 and 3, too.

 

Or better if the system can save our selection, in the three.

“I don't want this coin” is about ALL the years for that type. So for year collectors it'll NEVER work!

It is true. Because of this the best is the system save our selection.
