once you have selected a grade for a coin/banknote when adding it to your collection you then cannot unselect it and leave it blank without closing the popup and starting again. Please can you look at this behaviour and change it if possible, to allow you to unselect a grade.
We all know coin grading is subjective, so for my swap coins, i don't want to give the swapper false hope of the grade by over grading, much rather send them a picture if they are interested.
Hm okay, but if I would swap I'd want at least an overview for better selection. For example if you have many coin with dozens of the same type all without a grade do you send all the pictures? Seems kind of excessive
Most of the time grading is at least consistently off so you can adjust but you are right for the last negotiation step pictures are mandatory.
Cita: "Idolenz"Is there a rational reason to "ungrade" an item, if you know one could you please tell me?
I can't think of one.
Yes, there is :-) When I add items to the swap list, I don't grade them. First because I'm not great at grading coins and second because if I grade it too high and someone trusts on my grading skills, they might be disappointed. When I have a coin in my collection and I get a better looking coin, I want move the 'old' coin to my swap list. As I don't want a grade on it, I have to remove it and add it again.
