Now when we have a possibility to have a collection of coins, banknotes, we have a chapter with information about mints (and many other things I might don't know)...I would like to suggest to have a separate collection item for...Official coins set!
Now when I have a coins set a need to enter all coins of set one by one, put it grade (ussually it will be UNC or Proof), price (what price? Just divide total price on number of elements in set? Divide price on common denomination of all coins and calculate price of each coin based on this value?), some comment that coin is a part of a set (because I will put it not in coins album as usual, but in box for sets), maybe photos of the box and/or certificate (where to put those photos? On each coin of the set?) and sometimes coins set could also contain banknotes, stamp, token etc.
On coins set we can store information about issue year, mintage, price, whether the set has certificate or not, photos of the box, all items in the set, certificate etc.
At the background a collection set is a set of separate coins, stamps, tokens etc, so when you're creating a new set, first you need to make sure all items of the set are already present on site (maybe except stamp), otherwise first create them, then put a links to all items.

When you put a tick that you own a set then automatically all items of the set are added to your collection with UNC (or Proof if it's a Proof set) by default and some links are created, so you can easily navigate from set to coins and visa versa.
As an option №1 we could use this feature for storing a collection of NGC (or other service) graded coins as adding new set with only 1 coin, but photos of coin in the box and information about grade, certificate number and link to 3-rd party website to validate the certificate.
Option №2 use this feature for storing roll of coins in your collection.
