Traditionally, the Royal Dutch Mint's Theme Set is dedicated to the Royal Family. This special coin set annually celebrates the milestones in the lives of the Royal Family. This year, we're focusing on the future of the House of Orange: Princesses Amalia, Alexia, and Ariane are all officially adults, and that calls for a celebration!
Theme Set 2025 On April 10, Princess Ariane turned 18: the youngest daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima officially reached adulthood. A special moment for the royal family: all three princesses are now adults. Amalia reached this milestone in 2021, and Alexia followed in 2023. Where are these young women now in their lives? Design and Medal The 2025 Theme Set is entirely dedicated to the Princess of Orange and Princesses Alexia and Ariane. This is reflected in the photos chosen for the packaging. Beautiful decorations were also used to give the whole thing a classic and luxurious look.
As usual, the 2025 Theme Set contains this year's Dutch euro coins, and, as always, an exclusive medal can be found in the center. The obverse depicts the three princesses: the Princess of Orange in the center, Alexia on the left, and Ariane on the right. At the bottom is the text "The Future of Orange." The reverse features the Dutch coat of arms, surrounded by the names of the princesses. At the bottom is the Dutch motto "Je Maintiendrai" (I will maintain).
