Hello!

Is there a way to simply delete wrong assigned auctions sales, instead of reassigning them to other coin?

https://en.numista.com/forum/topic177116.html

That option seems to be broken now:

Why would you not reassign them?  If alreeady in the system, just move them to the correct page …

Just call me Bram

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

I just did that.

But there is a bug with the Delete.

I get another message, but the result is the same. Deleting past auction sales still not working:

Yes, there is a bug to delete auction … but I repeat myself …

There are auction lots that include multiple items. Mr. robot adds them and voila, wrong pictures are added to the varieties lines!

And of course these can’t be moved to other pages as that would cause the pictures of the other coin to incorrectly be placed on the variety lines of the newly assigned coin.

Therefore these need to be deleted.

:)

@Marc16 indeed, that would be impossible to move

in the meantime, wrong items can be moved to these pages, awaiting the restauration of the delete-option:

the place where items go to die: Search the catalogue – Numista

coins: N# 43609 N#43609

banknotes: N# 327850 N#327850

exonumia: N# 358201 N#358201

I just did that.

Just waiting on the referee to approve.

I know you did 😀

My repeat button was on for Essor prof who also wanted to delete something  😄

I've joined the “don't delete-gang”, just like you, as I've noticed quite some editors and even referees have not yet found the way to move auction results https://en.numista.com/forum/topic177116.html#p1341521 🤪

Ah…sorry.  Carry on.

There are auction lots that include multiple items.

I repeat my question (where I got no answer): what's the point of adding past auction results with multiple items who have nothing to do with each other. How does that make us wiser about the price of one of these coins? And even when they are from the same type, but different dates/conditions (with a lot of price difference between them)? I would like to see all those results with multiple items to be deleted, they are only cluttering/littering the list.

Auctions with multiple coins do not go into the Numista calculated values.

No, but they cluttering the list and don't make us any wiser so what's the purpose?
